As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be development, coordination and maintainability of long-term relationships with Corporate Customers, as well as allocated Corporate Distributors across the industry.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Providing ongoing account leadership for allocated products and customers
• Acting as the liaison between the customer and coordinate with other departments within the company such as Business Development, Product Development and Technical Services
• Identifying and closing opportunities for growth in terms of the Annualized Premium Equivalent for existing business
• Engaging on all stakeholder levels, i.e. customer, distributor and company aiming to achieve an efficient and accurate distribution of information and business continuity
• Pro-actively participating in client meetings & other activities, when required
• Documenting and reporting on the ongoing activities, best practices, requirements and the product needs to the HQ team
• Providing exceptional support and service to customers through collaboration with Client Service Teams
• Keeping an accurate record of all customer contacts and development activities (including customer meeting minutes, etc.), as well as recording the entire track of customer complaints

Profile

Skills and Experience:

• B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent level, preferably in business administration, economics, management or engineering
• 5+ years minimum of customer-facing work experience, including 3 years in a relevant position with a proven ability to deliver results, banking background is welcome
• Fluency in German and English (both mandatory) required, written and spoken level, other languages will be considered as an asset
• Comprehensive understanding of the customer needs and the stakeholders involved
• Excellent Office word and PowerPoint skills in addition to good working level of Excel
• Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with customers and external suppliers on a pro-active basis
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic approach
